On February 19th, various board members and Pelican employees attended an executive education and networking workshop on community safety and security. Participants reviewed the purpose and role of a community emergency plan and identified various risks facing condominiums and homeowners associations.
Personal safety expert Mike Thomas of Team Grizzly shared tactics and techniques on active shooter awareness, and participants gained valuable insight into handling stressful HOA meetings.
