Tennis/Pickleball Rules and Fob Request – Dulaney Towers

DULANEY TOWERS TENNIS COURTS AND PICKLEBALL COURTS RULES

Courts are open for play from 8 am until 9 pm.

Courts are open for play March 15 through December 15 weather permitting.

Courts are for Owners/Residents and their guests only. Guests must be accompanied by a resident. People entering, playing and using the courts do so at their own risk. Owner/Residents and their guests assume all risk from the use of the courts and DTMC shall not be responsible for any injury to a person or loss or damage to personal property.

• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
• Court gates must be kept closed at all times.
• Spectators, children, and those who are not playing, including those waiting to play, must remain outside the courts.
• Proper footwear and attire are required.
• Only athletic rubber-soled shoes (no cleats) are permitted on the courts. Bathing suits and bare feet are not permitted.
• No pets.
• No Littering.
• No Smoking.
• No glass, metal containers, food, alcohol, chairs on courts. Beverages are permitted only in non-breakable containers.
• No bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, skate boards, wagons, toys or any sharp or abrasive objects or other equipment that might damage the surface.
• Sitting or leaning on the nets is prohibited.
• Players must exhibit proper sportsmanship, not throwing rackets or using profanity.

Owners/Residents are responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their guests, or children. Violations of the rules may result in a fine of $100 per violation, expulsion from the courts for a prescribed time, and revocation of privileges. Only association members in good standing may use the courts. Courts may be closed for repairs and maintenance, inclement weather, or other activities at the discretion of DTMC. Maintenance of the courts is DTMC’s responsibility and costs are shared by the sections.

COURT RESERVATIONS

• The courts are available on a first come, first served basis.
• Play is limited to two hours if no one is waiting, and one hour if others are waiting.
• To be next on a court, place your racket on the fence of the court on which you wish to play. To play as a group, all players must place their rackets on the fence of the same court.

1 free FOB per unit. The charge for a FOB replacement is $50 per FOB.
