SWIMMING POOL RULES & REGULATIONS

SWIMMING POOL RULES & REGULATIONS

PURPOSE: The operation of the DTMC private pool shall be for the comfort, safety, and pleasure of the Residents.

POLICY:
1) DTMC pool members shall include only those persons listed as residents of Dulaney Towers condominium units. Any change must be reported promptly, in writing to the property management company. Guest passes will be issued based on the number of registered residents in each unit.
2) Resident passes may only be used by the resident and/or an immediate family member. Proof of identification may be required for admission to the pool area.
3) Guest passes are transferrable. Guests must register with the guard on duty at the time of entry using the provided log book. ALL GUESTS MUST BE IN THE COMPANY OF A RESIDENT WHEN ENTERING THE POOL.
4) NO ONE shall be admitted into the pool area without displaying a resident or guest pass and registering with the guard on duty using the provided log book at the time of entry. If a pool pass is lost or destroyed, a $50.00 fee will be assessed for a replacement pass.
5) Management may close the pool for repairs or other emergency, and may, at the discretion of the pool manager, alter the hours of operation due to inclement weather.
6) These Pool Rules & Regulations shall be included with the DTMC Pool Pass Application.

HEALTH REGULATIONS:
1) All people MUST shower before entering the Pool. (Baltimore County health regulation)
2) No pets allowed in the pool area.
3) Expectorating or nose blowing in the pool is prohibited.
4) Admission to the pool may be refused to anyone wearing bandages, with colds or cough or with
infections.
5) Wearing street shoes within the pool area will be restricted at the discretion of the pool manager.
6) Children and babies must wear swim diapers to enter the pool.
SAFETY REGULATIONS:
1) No glass is permitted in the pool area which is defined as all spaces within the pool fence.
2) No running, pushing, ball playing, or disturbance will be permitted within the pool area.
3) Smoking is prohibited in the pool area.
4) For the purpose of supporting non-swimmers – inner tubes, water wings, and other flotation devices are not permitted at any time. For safety purposes, only a LIFE VEST APPROVED BY THE U.S. COAST GUARD is to be used. If a child uses such a life vest, a parent or guardian must always accompany the child in the water.
5) A parent or guardian must closely watch children at all times. A parent or guardian must accompany a non-swimmer in the water at all times.
6) Use of the wading pool is limited to children under eight (8) years of age. Adults are responsible for the safety of their children when they are using the wading pool, as well as the main pool.
7) Children under the age of twelve (12) must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
8) NO DIVING is allowed.
9) Swimmers may not hang on swings from the designated markers at the deep end of the pool.
10) No persons shall congregate around the lifeguards on duty.
11) All swimming equipment is subject to approval by the pool manager.
12) Prolonged underwater swimming, breath-holding, or games including such behaviour is prohibited.

USE OF GROUNDS:
1) No alcoholic beverages, profanity, gambling, or loud noises are permitted in the pool area.

2)Food and refreshments may be consumed only in the designated areas as determined by the pool manager. Trash and debris must be disposed of properly.
3) Drivers on Swarthmore and the parking lot must exercise caution when driving near the pool. Parking is not permitted directly in front of the garage roll-up door.
4) The cost of any property damage will be charged to the responsible member.
5) Management will not be responsible for the loss or damage of personal property.
6) The reserving of chairs and lounges is not permitted.

SWIMMING DRESS CODE:
1) Wearing appropriate swim trunks and bathing suits is required. The use of cut-offs, sport shirts or other non-descript attire in the water and pool area is not allowed.

All commercial activities, including but not limited to swimming lessons, coaching, or other business-related services, are strictly prohibited.
THE GUARD ON DUTY HAS FULL AUTHORITY TO ENFORCE THE RULES

POOL PARTIES:
Arrangements for pool parties must be made with Pelican. You may request a POOL PARTY CONTRACT from the Property Manager at support@pelicanmgt.com.
Pool parties are limited to a maximum of 30 people and a duration of 4 hours. Only one pool party may be scheduled per day. Parties will not be scheduled on Memorial Day Weekend (May 24th, 25th, 26th), July 4th Weekend (July 4th, 5th 6th), or Labor Day Weekend (Aug 30th, 31st, Sept 1st). Additional rules for pool
parties are outlined in the pool party contract.
